CiCi Kai is a versatile dancer with a passion for storytelling through movement, honed through rigorous training and diverse experiences. CiCi began formal dance training at an early age at the Center Of Creative Arts (COCA) in St. Louis, MO. CiCi is currently a graduating senior at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where they have proven their dedication to both artistry and academics, earning Dean’s List honors and the Dance Division Faculty Scholar Award. As a Pre-professional trainee at COCA-St. Louis CiCi studied under renowned instructors such as Alicia Graf Mack, Jennifer Cudnik, Lee Nolting, Gina Bon-Perez and Kirven and Antonio Douthit-Boyd. CiCi expanded their dance skills through intensives at Dance Theater Of Harlem, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, American Ballet Theatre Summer Collegiate, and Boston Dance Theater. They enriched their craft through residencies, master classes, and workshops with artists such as Matthew Rushing, Ron K. Brown, Norbert De La Cruz III, and Lauren Anderson. CiCi’s professional experiences have included an appearance with Big Muddy Dance Company and participation as a member of a small cohort of dancers selected for a Dance Lab New York Bespoke Lab under the choreographic direction of Josh Prince. CiCi's commitment to growth has included assisting at the Boston Conservatory Summer Dance Intensive and participating in the Bay Area International Deaf Dance Festival. With the aspiration to deeply connect with people, CiCi looks forward to their artistic journey, driven by a desire for growth and fueled by curiosity.
